About

Creative Problem Solving

I am a freelance motion graphic designer, producer, director and editor based in New York. After graduating with a degree in music from Oberlin Conservatory’s Technology In Music And Related Arts program in 2000 I went to work for Batwin and Robin Productions. At B+R I learned the ins and outs of video and film production while working on documentary content for large scale museum installations and projection design for Broadway shows. In 2004 I began my freelance career and in the years since I have worked with a wide array of clients on original video content for the web, live events, displays and television broadcast.

Typically, I work with clients in one of two roles, or some combination of the two. As a producer and director, I oversee projects from beginning to end working with clients to bring a creative vision to life. As needed, I hire collaborators from a fantastic pool of talented partners I’ve worked with over the years, including camera operators, audio engineers, writers, designers and more. Working as an editor and motion graphics designer, I can integrate into an existing team, and take direction from an agency’s creative leads. I am comfortable in either role, and have had creative successes from both approaches.

I pride myself on creative problem solving and getting the job done. I love working with clients to produce engaging content on time, on brand and within budget that stands out from the noise.
